Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile Suites

It was a nice room way better than expected, and the staff was informative. There was also an extremely loud room, seemed to be full of frat boys, but staff quickly got on this. Shut them up quick lol.

The staff didn't seem like they wanted to interact with customers. They gave quick answers, and then walked away. Also facilities were crowded with lots of kids and the area was smaller than expected.

Welcoming staff at the door were incredibly friendly upon every entry and exit. Quick to assist for obtaining taxi's, and genuinely personable. Much better than desk staff.

We were told our back up credit card would not be used for valet or room purchases. However, they charged the secondary card for the valet separately. Not very nice. It should have been added to the room charge as we were told it would be.

I was pleased with almost everything about the Hilton. We had a great time.

The prices at the restaurant wax extremely high. For breakfast we both ordered 2 eggs, hashbrown, toast bacon, and coffee. Our bill was almost 60 dollars.

The room/suite was so spacious a family would be comfortable. Bed was so comfortable. Wonderful location--1+block from John Handcock bldg and 2 blocks from Watertower Place, and Michigan Ave, 4 blocks from Lake Shore drive. For downtown Chichago, it was easy in and out. Parking around the corner was cheaper than the hotel--lots. Bar made wonderful drinks, didn't eat there.

The room was wonderful & spacious & a great price for a prime location. My husband & I asked the concierge for ideas of places to go to for dinner & out on the town afterwards & we took her recommendations & had an excellent meal/time. She even gave us gift certificates to use towards our night out. That was a wonderful plus. We'll definitely stay there again & it would be perfect to also bring our kids seeing as the rooms are spacious & since there's a pool.

The King Room Suite was very nice. The separate bedroom was also very nice. Wife loved the make up room/mirrow area. (her own vanity) Bathroom was spacious and clean.

You could water "flushing" through the pipes in the walls from the rooms above.. stayed on the 22nd floor, and at times, it sounded like freight trains running through the halls...

The location of this hotel was perfect. It is right across the street from the John Hancock building where there is a beautiful observatory/bar at the top as well as restaurants/shops at street level. It is ~3min walk from Michigan Avenue, which is packed with many shops/restaurants. It's great and feels very safe to just walk around and enjoy city life. However, if you need a cab and want to go to other tourist spots, there was always one outside the lobby. Best of all is that I stayed here with 4 of my friends and considering we stayed in a one-bedroom suite with 2 double beds and a pull-out sofa.... It was spacious and a great price!!!! I researched so many places in the area for a month or so, and this place was so affordable (~$160/night) that at first glance I didn't believe it. (Haha)... So if you plan to visit the city with a handful of friends or a family (5-6ppl), this is definitely a great place to stay.

The only drawback I came across is that you have to pay for internet ($12.95/day). However, if you have a smartphone or tablet/ipad with built- in 3g internet, then it doesn't matter. I didn't have a car, so I don't know if they offer parking.

Room layout, view and amenities. Lobby restaurant and coffee availability. Location - close to all Michigan Ave. Has to offer.

At check in, if I didn't ask, no information was offered by the people at the desk - such as, services offered by the hotel, hours of lobby operation, etc. They checked us in, but I could have done that myself at a kiosk.

Great room and great location. Staff was especially helpful with recommendations and directions!

Parking fees are way too high (was more than parking my car in downtown Manhattan last year!) but other than that, it was great!

The salmon burger was delicious and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The welcome was very nice. The rooms spacious and clean. A bit outdated though, but good bed.

There was no buffet for the breakfast that day and service was slow. I reserved a smoking room, but alas there were non available.
